Sister Ann Francis Klimkowski, OSF, Ph.D., President Emerita of Lourdes College, Professor of Business and Leadership, Executive in Residence, taught in the Master of Organizational Leadership program for seven years, and served as interim director of the program for one year. She served as an administrator at Lourdes for 21 years and was President of Lourdes College for 17 years. Sister Ann Francis holds a B.S.E. and M.Ed. from Bowling Green State University majoring in business education and business management Her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Supervision is from the University of Toledo. Her work experience includes that of a chemical company in her home town. She brings a wide range of experience in the administration of educational institutions at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels. She obtained experience in group process and listening skills, and a keen understanding of non-for profit organizations from the University of Minnesota during her tenure there as a principal of a consolidated school system.

"Sister Ann Francis has served on the board of the Toledo Sister Cities International board of trustees at different times over a period of 20 years and held the position of President of the board twice."

Throughout her professional life, she has served on non-profit boards as a volunteer such as the Toledo Sister Cities International and Toledo Poznan Alliance, and various service organizations, such as Rotary. She received the Athena Award in 1997 from the Toledo Chamber of Commerce, and the Milestone Award from the Young Women’s Christian Association of Toledo in 2005.
